GROUP CLASSES & SOCIAL DANCES



Join us for one of our group classes or social dances. We teach all over in the Maryland, DC, and Virginia area! We are always adding new classes, so bookmark us, check back periodically, and join our newsletter to get updates!

March Classes

Thursdays:

6:00-7:00pm- Beginner/Adv Beginner East Coast Swing with Corey

7:00-8:00pm- Beginner/Adv Beginner West Coast Swing with Amanda

8:00-9:00pm- Beginner/Adv Beginner Country 2-Step with Amanda

Saturdays:

2:00-3:00pm- All level American-Style Quickstep with Corey

3:00-4:00pm- All level Sizzling Hot Samba with Corey

March 26, 2023 - Country Western Couples & Line Dancing at Strictly Ballroom in Fredericksburg, VA



Come see us down in Fredericksburg for our newest country dance in that area! Dances are held within Strictly Ballroom, which several large beautiful dance floors and plenty of room to dance for both couples and line dancers!


4:00pm, Amanda and Corey teach a beginner level Country 2-Step lesson (45 mins)


4:45pm, We will review some previous beginner line dances we taught and then teach one new one so that everybody can join in the fun! (30 mins)

5:15-7:00, Dance to a music mix that includes country favorites for couples and line dancing!

April 1, 2023 - Country Western and WCS Night at the Promenade Dance Studio



Join us as we host a Country Western and WCS night. We will teach an all-levels dance lesson from 7:00-8:00pm, followed by a social dance mix of 50% country and 50% west coast swing from 8:00-11:00pm.


WCS mix includes blues, country, funk, and contemporary WCS music. The country portion is 2-Step, Nightclub, ECS, WCS, Waltz, Cha Cha, Polka, and more, done to country music. Contemporary and/or non-country music may be played for WCS, hustles, and line dances.


April 1st- WCS Lesson, FB Event

April 29th- Nightclub 2-Step Lesson, FB Event


$20 per person, no partner or experience required. Lessons will be taught by Amanda & Corey. Music will be played by DJ Pam Garrettson on April 1st and 29th.

April 7, 2023 - Friday Night Swing at the Promenade Dance Studio in Windsor Mill, MD



Corey and I have been invited to teach an East Coast Swing lesson before Friday Night Swing and DJ a mix of East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, and other swing favorites with a few ballroom breaks in between. Don't be afraid to request a song!

8:00-11pm Dance the night away to Amanda and Corey's music mix

April 8, 2023 - Country Western Night at Elegant Dancing in Fairfax, VA



Amanda Stearns and Alex Jacobs (an instructor at Elegant Dancing) host a country western night on April 8th. Facebook Event here.


7:00-8:00pm- Amanda & Alex will teach a variety of beginner country couples and line dance lessons.

8:00-10:30- Alex and Amanda will DJ a mix of country couples and line dance music

April 28, 2023 - Line Dancing at Woodlawn Senior Center in Woodlawn, MD



Join us for a special workshop and dance day at Woodlawn Senior Center. We will focus on country line dancing instruction and music. Anyone is welcome to join, but they must be over 60 years of age, and will need to join the senior center for free before registering for the class and dance.

June 3, 2023 - 80s Ballroom Night at the Promenade Dance Studio in Windsor Mill, MD



Dance to a mix of your favorite 80s music hits while dancing ballroom dances you are familiar with. Dress up in your favorite 80s costume or personality!


We will teach a Cha Cha lesson for all levels at 7:00pm, then dance the night away as we play your favorite hits that you can swing, cha cha, hustle, rumba, waltz, tango, foxtrot, and more, all night long!
