Meet Our Team

Amanda and Corey sitting together outdoors

Together, Amanda and Corey bring more than 50 years of dance experience to students throughout the Baltimore area and the greater Maryland, Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia region. They believe dance instruction should be clear, encouraging, and tailored to each person’s goals—whether that means enjoying social dancing, preparing for competition, creating a memorable wedding dance, or simply trying something new.

MEET AMANDA, CO-OWNER

Amanda began dancing as a teenager and started teaching and competing in 2007. Her background includes Ballroom and Latin, West Coast Swing, Country partner dancing, line dance, belly dance, Irish dance, and other movement styles. She enjoys helping students understand technique, body mechanics, partner connection, and musicality in practical ways, whether they are complete beginners or experienced competitors.

MEET COREY, CO-OWNER

Corey has taught Ballroom dance since the 1990s and has competed professionally as well as with ProAm students. In 2010, he received a Top Teacher award at the Ohio Star Ball. He brings extensive experience in Ballroom and Latin dancing, wedding dance instruction, social dancing, and competition coaching.

TEACHING TOGETHER

Amanda and Corey married in 2024 and now combine their complementary backgrounds as teaching partners. Together, they offer private lessons, group classes, wedding dance instruction, social and competitive coaching, and dance entertainment. They also host social dances, workshops, and special events for the Baltimore-area dance community.

MARISA

Country Partner Dance and Line Dance Instructor

Marisa began dancing at age three with ballet and went on to study jazz, contemporary, and modern dance through high school and college. After the pandemic, she reignited her love of dance and began studying Ballroom. Today, she teaches Country partner dancing and line dance. She especially enjoys exploring new styles and sharing that range with her students, whether they are trying their first class or building on years of experience.

INTERESTED IN JOINING OUR TEAM?

We occasionally have part-time opportunities for people who help make our classes, dances, and special events run smoothly. We are currently interested in hearing from DJs, line dance instructors, partner dance instructors, door and check-in managers, and people who can assist with event setup and cleanup.
