Both Amanda and Corey offer professional dance hosting. Book time to dance with either of us at a social, practice what you’ve learned in lessons, and become more comfortable dancing alongside other couples.
What is dance hosting? You hire Amanda or Corey to be your dance partner at a social. You’ll dance alongside other couples, with your teacher there to help you put your skills into practice and enjoy the event.

Put your lessons into practice
At a social, you have to adapt to the music, the available space, and the couples around you. Dancing with Amanda or Corey gives you a chance to develop those skills while practicing the figures and technique you’ve been working on in lessons.
Work on your dancing
Use your private lessons to work on the figures and technique you’d like to improve. We can help you choose a few things to focus on when you go dancing.
Dance with your teacher
Practice with Amanda or Corey while other couples are dancing around you. You’ll get experience with different music, a shared floor, and the adjustments that social dancing calls for.
Bring questions to your next lesson
Notice what felt good and what was difficult. We can talk about it in your next lesson and work on the things that will help you feel more comfortable the next time you go dancing.

Both of us offer dance hosting for Ballroom, West Coast Swing, and Country. Let us know which dances interest you and whether you’d like to practice leading or following. We’ll help you make a plan based on the event and our availability.
Dance Hosting with Amanda
Amanda offers dance hosting as either a leader or a follower. You can practice either role and work on figures, timing, connection, and floorcraft with your teacher.
Dance Hosting with Corey
Corey offers dance hosting as a leader. Followers can practice figures, timing, connection, and floorcraft while dancing with their teacher at a social.

Ballroom, West Coast Swing, and Country
We can join you at a social that plays the dances you enjoy. The styles available will depend on the event and its music.
Ballroom Social Dancing
Dance Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Rumba, Cha Cha, Swing, and other Ballroom and Latin dances at tea dances, studio socials, and community events.
West Coast Swing
Practice leading or following, use figures you’ve learned in class or private lessons, and explore how they work with different songs and tempos.
Country Partner Dancing
Dance Country Two-Step, Waltz, Nightclub Two-Step, Cha Cha, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Polka, Triple Two-Step, Viennese Waltz, or Hustle, depending on the event’s music.
Lessons and social dancing
Private lessons are part of the program
Dance hosting is available to students who take private lessons with Amanda or Corey. A private lesson is required during each week you book hosting, and we recommend continuing weekly lessons between hosting visits.
Your lessons give us time to work on technique, balance, connection, and partnering, and to choose specific goals to practice during social dancing. They also allow us to address habits that make dancing uncomfortable or put unnecessary strain on either partner.
Hosting appointments and packages
Hosting is $100 per student per one-hour appointment. Each hour includes approximately 45 minutes of dancing, with time for short breaks and sitting out selected dances.
One hour of dance hosting for students taking private lessons with us. A private lesson is required in the same week and is booked separately.
One 45-minute private lesson and one hour of dance hosting during the same week.
Four 45-minute private lessons and four one-hour hosting appointments, with one lesson and one hosting appointment each week.
Package prices are per student. Appointments are arranged around the event and instructor availability. Event admission, venue charges, and travel fees may be separate. We’ll confirm the schedule and total cost before you book.
