West Coast Swing Leader Lab
The West Coast Swing Leader Lab is a personalized four-lesson program with Amanda for dancers who want to strengthen their primary role or expand into a secondary role. Because West Coast Swing has a strong culture of dancers learning both roles, this version of the program supports three paths: established leaders who want to improve their leading, followers who want to learn to lead, and leaders who want to learn to follow. The goal is clearer connection, better communication, stronger versatility, and more confidence in social dancing.

Improve connection, clarity, preparation, stretch and compression, timing, slot awareness, transitions, musicality, partner comfort, adaptability, social-dance confidence, and floorcraft.
Leader Development Track: $400.
I primarily follow and want to learn to lead
Learn how to initiate movement clearly, create comfortable stretch and compression, choose patterns, navigate the slot, manage turns and transitions, recover smoothly, and build confidence leading different partners.
October secondary-role launch special: $375.
I primarily lead and want to learn to follow
Develop responsiveness, balance, timing, slot awareness, stretch and compression from the follower side, turns, footwork, adaptability, musicality, and confidence dancing socially in the follower role.

Why learn both roles?
For many West Coast Swing dancers, learning the other role is part of becoming a more versatile and connected dancer. It can give you more opportunities to dance, help you understand partnership from both perspectives, improve how you communicate in your primary role, and make role-switching with friends feel natural instead of intimidating.

- Four 45-minute private lessons with Amanda
- A personalized role-skills assessment
- Your own progress plan
- Practice exercises between sessions
- A mini social-dancing session
- A final progress review and recommendations for continued improvement
